# Allocated User Variance Report

The **Allocated User Variance Report** ensures allocated asset ownership aligns with actual user activity by identifying mismatches, supporting audits, tracking unauthorized usage, and maintaining accurate asset records.

**Usage**

- Supports internal audits and governance requirements
- Identifies inactive or wrongly allocated devices for reallocation or recovery

**Example**

A laptop is officially allocated to John (as per Allocated User Name), but the report shows that Sarah’s email appears under Last Logged-In User Email, with recent logon activity. This indicates the device may have been reassigned informally or shared without updating records, prompting IT to verify and correct the allocation details.

Allocation corrected and records updated for accurate ownership and compliance.

**Steps:**

To view the **Allocated User Variance Report**, perform the following steps:

2. Click **Allocated User Variance** **Dashboard**. It displays 50 entries per page and you can search the required asset using the Search text box.

The following table describes the column displayed on the **Allocated User Variance Report**.

| Column Name | Description |
| --- | --- |
| Asset ID | Displays the Asset ID of the asset. |
| Asset Code | Displays the Asset Code of the asset. |
| Host Name | Displays the machine host name of the asset. |
| Serial Number | Displays the machine serial number of the asset. |
| Allocated User Name | Displays the name of the user to whom the asset is allocated. |
| Allocated User Email | Displays the email address of the allocated user. |
| Last Logged In User Email | Displays the email address of the last user who logged in to the machine. |
| Last Logon Timestamp | Displays the date and time when the machine was last accessed. |
| Asset Status | Displays the current status of the asset. |

| **Icons** | **Action** |
| --- | --- |
| Force refresh | Ensures that **the most up-to-date values** are displayed. |
| Enter fullscreen | Displays the Report in full screen for better visibility and presentation. |
| View query | To view the actual query which is used to run the report. |

### Filters

Use the filters such as Tenant or Category to the display the filtered data on the Report as per your requirement.
