# Configure E-mail Notifications

You can send E-mail Notifications to the configured e-mail recipients for various actions related to an Asset, such as allocation, deallocation, reconciliation, movement, repair, software installation, and uninstallation.

To configure E-Mail Notifications, perform the following steps:

1. Navigate to **Asset** > **Configuration** > **Others** > **E-mail Notification**.
2. In the **ACTIONS** panel, click **ADD NEW.** The **E-MAIL NOTIFICATION** page is displayed. 3. Click **SUBMIT** to configure the e-mail CC recipients and/or software installation/uninstallation notification recipients.

#### Field Description

The following table describes the fields on the **E-MAIL NOTIFICATION** page:

| **Field** | **Description** |
| --- | --- |
| Tenant | Select the **Tenant** for which you want to configure the E-mail Notifications for CC and software installation/ uninstallation. |
| Category | Select the **Category** for which you want to configure the E-mail Notifications for CC and software installation/ uninstallation. |
| Store | Select the **Store** for which you want to configure the E-mail Notifications for CC and software installation/ uninstallation. |
| Status | Select the **Status** as Enabled if the e-mail notification configuration is active. Select the **Status** as Disabled if the e-mail notification configuration is inactive |
| **Mail CC Configuration** | Configure the CC E-mail Notifications. |
| Notify for | Select the actions from the drop-down list for which you want to configure the CC E-mail Notifications. You can select multiple actions from the drop-down list. |
| User | Select the Users, whom you want to send the E-mail Notifications for the selected set of actions. For information about searching users, see [Searching Users](https://help.symphonysummitai.com/apex/docs/apex2-search-users). |
| User List | Displays the list of users that you selected in the **User** field. |
| **Software Installation/Uninstallation Notification** | Configure the E-mail Notifications for software installation/ uninstallation. |
| Software Installation Notify To | Type in the e-mail IDs of the users whom you want to notify when a software is installed. |
| Software Uninstallation Notify To | Type in the e-mail IDs of the users whom you want to notify when a software is uninstalled. |
| SAM Uninstallation Notify To | Type in the e-mail IDs of the users whom you want to notify when SAM is uninstalled. |
| Type | Select the type of the software from the drop-down list. You can select the following type of software: - Only Baselined - Not Baselined - All (both Baselined and not Baselined software) For more details about baselining the software, see [Baselining Software](https://help.symphonysummitai.com/apex/docs/apex2-configure-baseline-profile). |

### ACTIONS

This section explains all the icons displayed on the **ACTIONS** panel of the **E-MAIL NOTIFICATION** page.

#### Filters

#### **SHOW LIST**

- To edit the E-mail Notification details, click the configured **Category**. Make appropriate changes and click **SUBMIT**.
- To display the inactive E-mail Notification details, click the **Include Inactive** check box.

> 
> When the E-mail Notification details are displayed under the **LIST** table, the **ADD NEW** action is displayed on the **ACTIONS** panel. Click **ADD NEW** to configure new E-mail Notifications for a Category.
