# Configure Software License

You can configure the software license by setting the publisher, license, software version, and service pack on the **SOFTWARE LICENSE CONFIGURATION** page.

To configure software license, perform the following steps:

1. Select **Asset** > **Configuration** > **Software** > **Software License Configuration**. 2. Select the **Tenant** at the left pane. The **DETAILS** sections displays the list of software Publishers.

> Note
> 
> After the successful creation of Publisher, it becomes available for all the Tenants. But the license name, software version, and service pack have to be created for other Tenants.

1. 2. Right-click the Publisher, select **Create License Name**, and specify a name for the newly added License.
3. Right-click the License, select **Software Version** or **Service Pack**, and specify a name for the newly added Software Version or Service Pack. The Publisher is now added with License details and software version and service pack.

> Note
> 
> You must follow the same flow to create the Software Version and Service Pack, as mentioned above. You cannot add Service Pack or Software Version under the Publisher. You can also deactivate any of the nodes. To deactivate, right-click the node and select **Deactivate**. If you deactivate any publisher, it becomes deactivated for the all the Tenants. To activate any node, select the **Include Inactive** check box and it displays the inactive nodes. Right-click the inactive node and select **Activate**.

Upon configuring you can see on the list page.
