# Exchange Rate Configuration

You can configure exchange rate of the Currency Units for each Department.

To configure exchange rate for currencies, perform the following steps:

1. Navigate to **Admin > Infrastructure > Currency > Exchange Rate Configuration**.

3. Select the **Tenant**, fill in the required details, and then click **Submit**.

> Note:
> 
> If the Base Currency for the Tenant is not configured, configure the Base Currency by clicking the **Base Currency** action item on the **Exchange Rate Configuration** list page.

#### Field Description

The following table describes the fields on the **Exchange Rate Configuration** page:

| **Field** | **Description** |
| --- | --- |
| Base Currency | Displays the Base Currency for the selected Tenant. The Currency Rate is calculated based on the selected Base Currency value. |
| Currency | Displays the list of Currencies. Select the Currency for which you want to configure the Rate. |
| Currency Rate | Specify today's Rate for the Currency that you selected in the **Currency** drop-down list. |
| Date | Displays today's date. |
| Is Default? | If selected, the configured Currency becomes active. |

#### Actions

This section explains all the icons displayed on the right **Actions** panel of the **Exchange Rate Configuration** page.

**Show** **List**

- To edit a Currency, click the configured **Currency Unit**. Make the appropriate changes, and then click **Submit**.

#### Actions

When the configured Currencies are displayed under the **List** table, the following Actions are displayed on the **Actions** panel.

- Click **Add New** to configure a new Currency.
- Click **Copy Currency** to copy the Currencies from an existing Tenant to this Tenant. Select the Tenant from the **Copy From** drop-down list. All the configured Currencies are copied from the selected Tenant to the Tenant displayed in the **Copy To** field. Select the **Overwrite already Configured Currencies** check box to overwrite the existing Currency configurations and replace with the Currency configurations available in the Tenant selected in the **Copy From** drop-down list. ![](https://cdn.document360.io/62351b42-cfbd-43ad-8ce1-82b8f455337f/Images/Documentation/ECC.jpg) Figure: Copy Currency pop-up page

- Click **Print** to print the records displayed on this page.
- Click **Export To Excel** to export the records displayed on this page to a Microsoft Excel sheet.

##### Filters

Click **Filters** to specify the filter criteria to view a particular set of Currencies, and then click **Submit**.
