# Core Competency

You can configure Core Competencies.

### To configure Core Competency:

1. Select **Admin** **>** **Productivity** **> General > Core Competency**.
2. On the **Core Competency** page, type in the name of the Core Competency in the **Core Competency** text box. Select the **Active** check box to make Core Competency active.
3. Click **Submit**. The new Core Competency is added.

**Actions**

This section explains all the icons displayed on the **Actions** panel of the **Core Competency** page.

**Show List**

- To edit a Core Competency, click the **Core Competency**. Make required changes and click **Submit**.

- To display the inactive Core Competencies, click the **Include Inactive** check box.

> Note:
> 
> When the Core Competencies are displayed under the **List** table, the **Add New** action is displayed on the right actions panel. Click **Add New** to add a new Core Competency.
