# Exporting Configurations by File

## Exporting Configurations by File

Top of Form

Bottom of Form

The Export Configurations by File feature enables the administrators to export the configurations from one server and import them to another. This avoids the need to add the same configuration in multiple servers, thus saving a lot of time and effort. For example, the administrators can export the configuration from a Staging server and import them to a Production environment.

You can export the configurations of the following modules:

- Incident Management
- Service Request Management
- Change Management
- Problem Management
- Knowledge Management

#### To Export the Configurations by File:

1. Navigate to **Admin> Infrastructure** > **Export/Import** > **Export** **Configurations by File.** The **Export Configurations By File** page is displayed.
2. Select the **Module** and **Tenant** details from the drop-down list. Click **Search**.
