# Geographic Location

You can configure the Geographic Locations that are not existing in the database to which an entity is mapped. After the configured entities are discovered and mapped to a Geographic Location, you can view the count of entities and entity details on the **Viewing Operations Dashboard** in Operations Management.

### To configure Geographic Locations:

1. Select **Admin** > **Common Masters** > **Geographic Location**.
2. On the **Geographic Location** page, specify the name of the location in the **Location Name** text box. Click **Search**.
3. The specified latitude and longitude of the location are displayed. Select the radio button corresponding to the location that you want to configure as a Geographic Location. #### Actions

This section explains all the icons displayed on the right action panel of the **Geographic Location** page.

**Location Mapping**

Click the **Location Mapping** icon to add the selected location details in the common master to map the locations with the already existing location details in the database. After clicking the **Location Mapping** icon, the **Common Masters** page is displayed. On the **Common Masters** page, specify the **Location** and **Value**. Based on this mapping the configured locations with entity details are displayed on the **Viewing Operations Dashboard** in Operations Management.
