# Get Attachment

The Get Attachment action retrieves one or more attachments associated with a selected record. The retrieved attachment can be used in subsequent steps of the integration flow, such as uploading it to another application.

#### Configure Attachment

Configure the **Get Attachment** action by specifying the record identifier and the attachment details to retrieve. The retrieved attachment is available as output for use in subsequent workflow activities.

To create an ServiceNow Get Attachment, perform the following steps:

1. 2. Enter the required details in the sections as described in the following table and click **Save Changes**.

****Connection****

The ServiceNow Connection enables the Integration Platform to securely communicate with the Apex application. Select the required connection from the list. The list displays all connections configured on the **Connections** page.

****Inputs****

Inputs define the values required to execute the selected connector action. | Field | Description |
| --- | --- |
| Table | Select the **Incident** or **Service Request** table to perform the selected action. Currently, only these tables are supported by the Apex connector. Based on the selected table, you can selected the instance code from the list. |
| Record sys_id | Specifies the system identification number of the record from which the attachment is retrieved. |
| File Name | Specify the name of the attachment to retrieve. You can enter a static value or map it from a previous step. |

****Test & outputs****

Use the Test option to validate the connector configuration before deploying the integration flow. The test executes the configured action using the specified inputs and displays the execution result.

Click **Run Test** to execute the configured action and verify the connector configuration.
