# Mapping proxy with Tenant

Analyst or Admin can easily locate the Tenant based on the Proxy map. Based on the desired the configuration, Single Tenant or Multiple Tenants can be mapped with a Proxy from the Proxy Tenant Mapping page.

To map proxy with single Tenant, perform the following steps:

1. On the **ACTION** panel, Click the **PROXY TENANT MAPPING.** The **TENANT PROXY MAPPING** page is displayed as shown. 2. Here you can go and map respective **Tenant** with the proxy. ![](https://cdn.document360.io/62351b42-cfbd-43ad-8ce1-82b8f455337f/Images/Documentation/image-8Y0XNPG7.png) Figure TENANT PROXY MAPPING page For example: Here the **Tenant** is mapped as **Information Technology**. You can use **Information Technology** to create IRE Rule configuration for discovering source attributes of the various hardware devices.
3. Click **SUBMIT**.
4. Navigate to **IRE RULE** (**Admin >Discovery & Monitoring > IRE Rule).** The mapped **Tenant** is displayed under the **Tenant** drop-down list of **IRE RULE** page. ![](https://cdn.document360.io/62351b42-cfbd-43ad-8ce1-82b8f455337f/Images/Documentation/image-0DN0QGPL.png)

#### **Multiple Tenant mapping with Proxy**

Perform the following steps for multiple **Tenant** mapping with Proxy:

1. On the **ACTION** panel, Click the **PROXY TENANT MAPPING** The **TENANT PROXY MAPPING** page is displayed as shown. (You can also navigate to **TENANT PROXY MAPPING** page from the following path - **Admin** > **Proxy View** > **PROXY TENANT MAPPING**)

Note

User can also use the **Copy** or **Copy All** icons to map the respective **Tenant** with the proxy.

Note

- 
  - User can modify the proxy tenant mapping.
  - Same proxy cannot be mapped to multiple tenants.
  - Multiple tenants can be mapped to different proxies.

User can add a capability to leverage the IRE Rule configuration for the discovery process so that the best data can be created from the discovered devices gathered through diverse sources.
