# Notification

You can configure Notifications for a specific Classification of CI. When it is configured, an e-mail is sent to the configured users for any change in the CI.

To configure a notification, perform the following steps:

1. Navigate to **CMDB** > **Import** > **Configuration** > **Notification**.
2. Select the required **Department**.
3. Click **ADD NEW** on the ACTIONS panel. The NOTIFICATION page is displayed.

4. Enter the required details. For more information, refer to the [Field Description](/apex/docs/notification-2#field-description).

#### Field Description

The following table explains the fields on the Notification page.

| Field | Description |
| --- | --- |
| Classification | Click to select the classification. |
| Active | Select the check box to activate the configuration. |

### Actions

This section explains all the icons displayed on the Actions panel of the Notification page.

#### Show List

Click Show List to display the List table showing all the configured notifications.
