# Skill Category

### To configure Skill Categories:

Select **Admin** **>** **Productivity** **> General > Skill Category**.

1. On the **Skill Category** page, select the Category under which you want to configure the Skill Category. Specify the Skill Category name in the **Sub Category Name** text box. Select the **Active** check box to make Skill Sub Category active.
2. Click **Submit**. The new Skill Sub Category is added.

**Actions**

This section explains all the icons displayed on the **Actions** panel of the **Skill Category** page.

**Show List**

- To edit a Skill Sub Category, click the **Sub Category Name**. Make required changes and click **Submit**.
- To display the inactive Skill Sub Categories, click the **Include Inactive** check box.

> **Note:**
> 
> - When the Skill Sub Categories are displayed under the **List** table, the **Add New** action is displayed on the right action panel. Click **Add New** to add a new Skill Sub Category.
> - Click the **Filters** icon on the **Actions** panel to display the Sub Category for the selected Category.
