# Source

You can define the Source that has triggered the creation of the Problem Record (PR). You can configure a Source under a Department.

### **Configure Source**

To configure Sources, perform the following steps:

1. Navigate to **Problem** > **Configuration** > **Source.**
2. Select the required **Department**.
3. Click **Add New** or ![](https://cdn.document360.io/62351b42-cfbd-43ad-8ce1-82b8f455337f/Images/Documentation/add_new_icon(1).png) icon.
4. Specify the name of the Source in the **Source Name** text box, and specify a numeric value in the **Sort Order** text box. 5. Click **Submit.** A new Source is configured.

### Actions

This section explains all the icons displayed on the **ACTIONS** panel of the **SOURCE** page.

#### **Show List**

Click **Show List** or ![](https://cdn.document360.io/62351b42-cfbd-43ad-8ce1-82b8f455337f/Images/Documentation/show_list_icon.png) to display the **LIST** table showing all the **Source** values configured for the selected Department.

**Source ID** column in the **LIST** table displays the ID associated with every configuration.

- To edit a Source, select the **Source Name**. Make appropriate changes and click **Submit**.
- To display the inactive Sources, click the **Include Inactive** checkbox.
