Enter the required information in the following sections, as described in the table below, and click **Save Changes**. ****Connection**** The Apex Connection enables the Integration Platform to securely communicate with the Apex application. Once configured, the connection can be selected and reused across multiple integration flows and Apex connector actions. ![](https://cdn.document360.io/62351b42-cfbd-43ad-8ce1-82b8f455337f/Images/Documentation/image-FWGWYIKK.png?sv=2026-02-06&spr=https&st=2026-11-07T17%3A18%3A17Z&se=2026-11-07T18%3A18%3A17Z&sr=c&sp=r&sig=Mq9GtILxVwid47r60CHQULb1Hpu0wJelsISfCf%2B%2B4gA%3D) Figure: Connection Select the required connection from the list. The list displays all connections configured on the **Connections** page. ****Inputs**** Inputs define the values required to execute the selected connector action. You can enter static values or map outputs from previous steps in the integration flow. ![](https://cdn.document360.io/62351b42-cfbd-43ad-8ce1-82b8f455337f/Images/Documentation/image-9LTZ37KP.png?sv=2026-02-06&spr=https&st=2026-11-07T17%3A18%3A17Z&se=2026-11-07T18%3A18%3A17Z&sr=c&sp=r&sig=Mq9GtILxVwid47r60CHQULb1Hpu0wJelsISfCf%2B%2B4gA%3D) Select the **Incident** or **Service Request** table to perform the selected action. Currently, only these tables are supported by the Apex connector. Based on the selected table, you can selected the **Instance Code** from the list, also enter the **Ticket No**. ****Record fields**** **Record Fields** enable you to configure the data that is sent to the selected table during the execution of a connector action. You can add standard or custom fields and map them to static values or outputs from previous steps in the integration flow. When you select a table, the Integration Platform automatically loads the available fields for that table. The list includes standard fields, such as **Caller**, **Status**, **Email**, **Location**, **Medium**, **Symptom**, and **User Communication**, along with any custom attributes configured for the table. ![](https://cdn.document360.io/62351b42-cfbd-43ad-8ce1-82b8f455337f/Images/Documentation/image-39PUP4MJ.png?sv=2026-02-06&spr=https&st=2026-11-07T17%3A18%3A17Z&se=2026-11-07T18%3A18%3A17Z&sr=c&sp=r&sig=Mq9GtILxVwid47r60CHQULb1Hpu0wJelsISfCf%2B%2B4gA%3D) If new custom attributes are created after the field list has been loaded, click **Refresh** to retrieve the latest available fields. Click **Add Field** to add one or more standard or custom fields to the selected connector action. On selecting the field to include in the action configuration, you can select the field mapped using outputs from previous workflow steps whenever possible. ****Test & outputs**** Use the Test option to validate the connector configuration before deploying the integration flow. The test executes the configured action using the specified inputs and displays the execution result. ![](https://cdn.document360.io/62351b42-cfbd-43ad-8ce1-82b8f455337f/Images/Documentation/image-QQXBYNBP.png?sv=2026-02-06&spr=https&st=2026-11-07T17%3A18%3A17Z&se=2026-11-07T18%3A18%3A17Z&sr=c&sp=r&sig=Mq9GtILxVwid47r60CHQULb1Hpu0wJelsISfCf%2B%2B4gA%3D) Click **Run Test** to execute the configured action and verify the connector configuration.
