In the User Management, users are assigned specific roles that determine their access and control over workspaces. The roles define how users interact with workspace mapping, ensuring structured access control.
Use predefined system roles to assign access permissions to workspace collaborators based on their requirements.
User Persona: Administrator
Admins are responsible for creating and testing recipes or custom connectors. They also manage user accounts, ensuring proper access control and permissions within the system.
End User maintain and validate existing recipes. This is the least permissive system role, providing read-only access to all Folders and all Projects.
Admin adds general details of Users, create password, and maps users to the workspaces and sub workspaces. Manages users within the workspace, assigns roles, configures settings, and maintains access security.
Users
Adding a new user and managing workspaces involves in three steps in User Management.
Step | Field User Persona: Admin | Description |

1 | General details | User details such as First Name, Middle Name, Last Name, Email, and Role are added under the General details |
2 | Authentication | Password details are given under Authentication |
3 | Workspace mapping | The user is assigned to Workspaces, and Subworkspaces linked within the Workspace mapping |
Add New Users
To add new User to the Workspace, perform the following steps:
Log in to the AIW application.
Click Settings (gear icon) in the top panel.

Click arrow and expand the options of User Management and select Users.

The Users List page is displayed. Click New to add a new user.

In the General details tab, enter the required as described in the following table and click Save.

Specify the First Name of the user
Middle Name
Specify the Middle Name of the user
Last Name*
Specify the Last Name of the user
Email*
Enter the Email ID of the user
Role*
Define the Role of the user
Navigate to Authentication tab.

Enter the required as described in the following table and click Save.Field

Navigate to Workspace Mapping tab. In the Add New Mapping section, select a Workspace and a Subworkspace. Click Add.

The added Workspaces are displayed under Existing Mappings. Users can be assigned to multiple Workspaces and Subworkspaces. Setting a Default workspace helps streamline access when working with multiple workspaces.
Click Save.
Managed Users
To View/Edit the list of configured Users, perform the following steps:
Navigate to User Management and select Users.

Displays the ID of the user
First Name
Displays the First Name of the user
Last Name
Displays the Last Name of the user
Role
Displays the Role of the user

Displays the EmailID of the user
Click any User ID hyperlink to edit the details. Click Save.
