In Automation, a task ensures that essential workflows are executed at the right time or under specific conditions, streamlining operations and reducing the risk of human error. It ensures that processes are carried out consistently and on time, improving efficiency and reliability.

Example - A company’s Backup workflow is scheduled to run automatically every night at 2:00 AM using the Automation Scheduler (Task). If an error occurs during the backup, the scheduler triggers an error notification workflow, alerting IT staff for corrective action, all without manual intervention.
