Application Settings section is where you can configure various aspects of the Service Automation application to suit your organizational needs. This segment encompasses a variety of settings that control how the application operates, integrates with other systems, and interacts with users. Here’s a breakdown of what you can manage within the Application Settings:
1. General
The General page allows you to personalize and brand your Service Automation application. You can update your organization’s logo, icon, and title, ensuring that your application reflects your organization's identity.
2. License
The License page handles License Configuration. A License Key is a unique code used to verify the legitimacy and authenticity of software or digital products. It is encrypted and acts as a digital signature, granting users the right to access and use the Service Automation Application.
The Telemetry Consent page involves obtaining permission from users before collecting and transmitting telemetry data from their devices. This is crucial for respecting user privacy and ensuring compliance with data protection regulations.
4. Copilot
The Copilot configuration page is an integral part of the service automation system. It enables and sets up the Copilot feature, which uses advanced automation to assist users in generating skills using AI on the skills page, enhancing efficiency and productivity.
5. Category
The Category configurations page involves organizing and grouping various skills and workflows based on their purpose and functionality. These configurations help manage the complexity of the service automation system, making it easier to locate and analyze specific settings.
6. Proxy
The Proxy page manages the execution of skills and workflows on target machines. Skills are executed on specific Active Directory (AD) servers or exchange servers using a proxy service called the Execution Service. This service is a separate Windows application that runs on the target machine, automating tasks and eliminating the need for manual execution of skills.
