Scheduler List page provides a comprehensive view of all configured schedulers within the system. It allows users to easily manage, filter, and analyze schedulers based on various attributes.

Navigation

To view the main Service Automation application page, perform the following steps:

  1. Navigate to Admin > Advanced > Automation > Orchestration.

    OR

    Navigate to Orchestration > User >Orchestration.

  2. Click the left hamburger icon to access all the options from the MENU.

View Scheduler List

To view the Scheduler List, perform the following steps:

  1. From the left Menu, navigate to Schedulers > Manage Schedulers > Scheduler List.

  2. Schedulers list page is displayed with all the configured records.

    Field Description

    The following table provides information about Scheduling status depicted at the top of the Schedulers List page:

Scheduling Status

Description

Total

Displays the total number of configured schedulers.

Scheduled

Displays the number of scheduled workflows.

Success

Displays the number of schedulers that are executed successfully.

Failure

Displays the number of schedulers that failed the execution.

Note

The new configuration created in Automation Scheduler will be in "Scheduled" state by default.

The following table describes the fields on the Schedulers List page:

Field

Description

Scheduler Name

Indicates the name of the configured schedulers.

Action Type

Action Type indicates the type of schedulers.

  1. Custom

    An administrator or user has the ability to set up a custom scheduler. This scheduler will initiate the workflow automatically at predetermined times as configured.

  2. Standard

    Standard schedulers are pre-configured in the system by default and cannot be edited or modified.

Scheduler Type

Indicates the type of the configured scheduler, whether One Time or Recurring.

Scheduler Frequency

Indicates the frequency of the configured scheduler, whether daily, weekly, monthly, etc.

Active

Indicates the Active status of the configured scheduler. It can be True or False.

Last Execution Time

Indicates the last execution time of the configured scheduler.

Next Execution Time

Indicates the next execution time of the configured scheduler.

Action Name

Displays the specific Workflow or Notification Type that is initiated by the Scheduler.

Job History

Provides the status report of the configured schedulers based on the selected dates. Head to View Job History segment below to know more information.

Run Now

Enables immediate execution of the configured scheduler.

Created By

Displays the username who created the configured scheduler.

Last Updated By

Displays the username of the person who last updated the configured scheduler.

Last Updated Date

Displays the date and time of the most recent update to the configured scheduler.

Reference ID

Displays the unique ID created upon initiation of the Workflow by the Scheduler.

Scheduler Status

Displays the present condition or phase of the scheduled task.

Action Status

Displays the current execution outcome of the Workflow initiated by the Scheduler.

Actions

The following table describes the icons on the Automation Schedulers List page.

Icon

Description

Using Search control, you can filter data across all columns. This acts as a one-input search control for the list page.

To create/configure a new scheduler.

Upon clicking Filters, the available options are displayed. Enter the required filter criteria and click Apply to get respective record details.

Filter conditions can also be saved and updated using the Save/Update Filters option.

Edit Columns feature allows you to customize the columns displayed on the list page according to your preferences. With this option, you can:

  • Select Columns: Choose which columns you want to display.

  • Reorder Columns: Drag and drop columns to rearrange their display order.

  • Remove Columns: Click the Delete icon to remove columns you no longer wish to see.

View Job History

The Job History option provides the status report of the configured schedulers (New, In Progress, Success, Failure, Enqueued) based on the selected dates. This option helps in analyzing all the previous activities of the scheduler and assists in better decision-making.

Run Now

The Run Now option enables the immediate execution of the configured scheduler. When the scheduler is in Disabled/Inactive state, the Run Now option cannot be executed. When the scheduler status is in Running state, you cannot run the scheduler.

Note

Last Execution Time and Next Execution Time values will not be impacted by the Run Now option.
