Workflow Automation for Change Requests (CRs) and Tasks

User Persona: Admin

Change Requests (CRs) and Tasks in SymphonyAI ITSM can now automatically trigger Service Automation Workflows. This enhancement extends automation coverage beyond Incidents, Service Requests, and Work Orders, enabling CRs and Tasks to initiate orchestration flows, update processes, and display workflow insights via new Orchestration tabs.

  • Expanded Automation Coverage: CRs and Tasks now participate in automated processes, reducing manual effort and ensuring consistent execution across more ITSM modules.

Service Automation Reports provide structured insights into workflow execution and performance using predefined reporting templates. These reports help users analyze automation success rates, adoption trends, execution states, and identify issues using detailed workflow‑level data.
