The Scheduler can be configured to run a task or job that imports data into an IT management system automatically from Active Directory (AD). This process ensures that the system's user and group data from Active Directory is kept current, which is important for appropriately handling issues, allocating responsibilities, and upholding security guidelines.

Configure Scheduler 

1. Navigate to Design Studio > Application > Scheduler. The Scheduler list page is displayed. For more information on configuration refer to Scheduler

2. Click New and the following page is displayed. Configure the General characteristics with the Scheduler Type as a Standard Event.

3. Select the frequency as desired and proceed to the next step. 

4. Select the Standard Event as AD User Import from the drop-down menu. For more information refer to the image below.

5. Publish the Scheduler.
