Analysts are responsible for managing and maintaining agentless discovery tools and processes within an organization. They discover and gather information about the IT assets, resources, and configurations across the network without deploying agents or software on each device.
Let's explore the following use case.
Use Case User Persona: Analyst | Solution |
| Adam the Discovery Analyst wants to generate reports that provide insights into network performance, asset utilization, compliance status, and security vulnerabilities. | Adam can use the Discovery Details functionality. He analyzes the collected data to identify opportunities for improving network efficiency. |
An Analyst can perform the following key actions in the Discovery module:
- Configure Discovery job
- View the list of discovered asset details
Manage Discovery
To configure the User Dashboard, perform the following steps.
- Navigate to Home > Analyst > Discovery.

- Click the Id to get the details of Discovery ID. The page is displayed as shown below.

Name of the Tenant.
