The Software Inventory Report provides the list of Assets where a Software or a list of Software is installed. It also provides the Asset details, such as ID, Asset Serial No., Host name, Allocation Status, Asset Location, Asset Store, Customer, and so on.
Who can use Software Inventory Report and Benefits of the Report
The Software Inventory Report in an Asset Management ITAM (IT Asset Management) app is primarily used by IT asset managers, software asset managers, and IT administrators. Access Chart from Dashboard
Log in to the application as an End User (Report Viewer).
Select Reports on the Application.

You can view AM_Software Inventory Report. Click on the vertical ellipsis to view other report options that can be performed by the user.

Description
Force Refresh
Select Force Refresh option to refresh the report.
Enter Fullscreen
Select Enter Fullscreen to view the report in a full screen mode.
Cross Filtering Scope
Select the charts to which you want to apply cross-filters when interacting with this chart.

View Query
Select View Query to view the query in a popup.

Select View as Table to view the query in a tabular format.

Click Share and select the below option:
Copy permalink to clipboard
Share chart by email
Download
Download the Report to Excel or save as Image.

List Item | Description |

License Asset ID | A unique identifier assigned to each software license asset within the ITSM system. This ID helps track, manage, and reference individual licenses throughout their lifecycle. |
Software Name | The official name of the software application associated with the license asset. This field specifies which software the license applies to Example: Microsoft Office, Adobe Photoshop. |
Product Code | A specific alphanumeric code assigned to the software product, often provided by the software vendor. It may represent the version, edition, or SKU of the licensed product. |
Install State | Indicates the current installation status of the software license on applicable devices or systems. Example: Ready, Complete |
Install Location | Specifies the location of the software installed. |
Access Charts
To access Software Inventory Report, perform the following steps:
Navigate to Reports > Asset Management.
Click Charts on the top panel and select Software Inventory Report to view the report.

Report is displayed.
Notes
Any user cannot edit the chart as these are OOB Reports.
If the Report viewer is an Analyst or Admin and want to create new report from the existing, refer to Report Designer.
