Publish

Publishing Bulletin involves the dissemination of information through various mediums such as Email, Web App etc. to a targeted audience either User or Role based. This process ensures that the content is relevant, accurate, and effectively communicated through respective mediums.

Publishing Bulletin is based on Field value sets. It is either user or role based.

To Publish a Bulletin, perform the following steps:

1.  Click + Add Filter Set.
   The field and operator values are displayed.

2. Select Field from the dropdown.
   The provided options are User Master and Role.

   User Master

   The Bulletin is published to User Master, the Application Designer to consider user specific attributes to target the user for publishing the Bulletin.

   To configure publishing to User Master, perform the following steps:

   1. Select User Master as target to Publish.
      A field dropdown containing values for User Master is displayed.

      The set of values that include in the dropdown  for User Master are as follows:

      Email ID	Gender	Department	Manager	Employee Type
      Designation	Grade	Category	Customer	Location

   2. Select Operator and corresponding Field Value.
      

   3. Click Submit to publish the Bulletin.

   Roles

   Publishing to Role based publishing involves selecting the user persona to which role the Bulletin will be published.

   
   To publish the bulletin to Role, perform the following steps:
   

   1. Select Role as target to Publish.
      A field dropdown containing values for Role is displayed.

   2. Select Role attribute from the field dropdown.

      Note

      Currently there is only one attribute configured in the dropdown that is Role Name.

   3. Map the Role to Value using an Operator.
      For the selected Role the Bulletin will be published. Figure: Add Bulletin
      
      The available Roles to which the Bulletin can be published are as follows:

      ITSM App Designer	Approver	Analyst	Administrator
      End User	Super Admin	Designer

   4. Click Submit to Publish the Bulletin.
