Publishing Bulletin involves the dissemination of information through various mediums such as Email, Web App etc. to a targeted audience either User or Role based. This process ensures that the content is relevant, accurate, and effectively communicated through respective mediums.
Prerequisite
To publish the Bulletin complete the previous configurations. For more information, refer to General, Medium, Schedule and Template.
Publish
Publishing Bulletin is based on Field value sets. The Bulletin to be published is user targeted or role based and can be selected under the publish stepper.
To configure Publish mechanism, perform the following steps:
- The Application Designer is navigated to Publish screen.

The field and operator values are displayed.

The provided options are User Master and Role.
Figure: Add Bulletin - Select a field, map the value using operators and click Submit.
To configure User Master as Field value, click here.
To configure Roles as Field value, click here.
User Master
The Bulletin is published to User Master, the Application Designer to consider user specific attributes to target the user for publishing the Bulletin.
To configure publishing to User Master, perform the following steps:
- Select User Master as Field value as target to Publish By.
A field dropdown containing values for User Master is displayed.

- Gender
- Department
- Manager
- Employee Type
- Designation
- Grade
- Category
- Customer
- Location
- Select Operator and corresponding Field Value.
- If this configuration includes Role based click here, if not click Submit to publish the Bulletin.
Role
Publishing to Role based publishing involves selecting the user persona to which role the Bulletin will be published.
To configure publishing to Role, perform the following steps:
- Select Role as Field value as target to Publish By.
A field dropdown containing values for User Master is displayed.

Figure: Add BulletinNoteCurrently there is only one attribute configured in the dropdown that is Role Name. - Map the Role to Value using an Operator.
For the selected Role the Bulletin will be published. Figure: Add BulletinNoteThe available Roles to which the Bulletin can be published are as follows:- ITSM App Designer
- Approver
- Analyst
- Administrator
- End User
- Super Admin
- Designer
- Click Submit to Publish the Bulletin.
