You can configure new CI Relation Types to define new relationships between the CIs. You can also define the inverse relationship name in the new CI Relation.

To create a new CI Relation Type:

Click CMDB > Configuration > CI Relation Type.
Click Add New. The CI Relation Type page is displayed.

Specify the Tenant, enter the required details, and then click SUBMIT to create a new CI Relation Type. The new CI Relationship Type is available in the Link drop-down list of the CI RELATIONSHIP tab. For more information about the fields, see Field Description.

Field Description

The following table describes the fields on the CI RELATION TYPE page:

Field	Description
Relationship Name	Specify the name of the Relationship Type
Inverse Relationship name	Specify the name of the Inverse Relationship
Description	Specify the description of the CI Relationship.
Active	Select the check box to activate the CI Relation Type.

Actions

This section explains all the icons displayed on the Actions panel of the CI Relation Type page.

Show List

Click Show List to display the List table showing all the created CI Relation Types.
