Change Category

The Change Category is the Category used by the Analysts while closing a Change Record (CR). You can add these Change categories based on the organizational needs. You can add and modify Change Categories for a Tenant.
To configure Change Category, perform the following steps:
Select Change > Configuration > Change Category.
On the Change Category page, select the Tenant. A list of all the configured Change Categories for the selected Tenant is displayed under the Details section.
Right-click on any one of the configured Closure Categories, a pop-up list is displayed with the following options:
Create Root Node: Click this option to create a new Root Node/Closure Category. A new Node/Closure Category is created at the top of the configured Node list.
Create Child Node: Click this option to create a Child Node/Closure Category. A Child Node/Closure Category will be created for the Node/Closure Category on which you have right clicked.
Rename: Click this option to rename a Node/Closure Category.
Deactivate: Click this option to set the Closure Category as inactive.
Set as Default: Click this option to set a Node/Closure Category as Default Node/Closure Category.
Configure: Click this option to configure Change Category.
What is a Closure Code?
A Closure Code is the status code used by the Analysts while closing Change Records (CRs). You need to add these Closure Codes based on the organizational needs. The Closure Codes defined by you are available to the Analysts while closing the CRs. You can add and modify Closure Codes for a Department.
To configure Closure Codes, perform the following steps:
Navigate to Change > Configuration > Closure Code.

From the left pane, hover and click Add New.

Select the Department and type in a name for the new Closure Code in the Closure Code Name textbox. If you select the Active checkbox, the Closure Code becomes an available option in the Closure Code list on the other pages of the application.
Click Submit. A new Closure Code is configured.
Actions
This section explains all the icons displayed on the Actions panel of the Closure Code page.
Show List
Click Show List to display the List table showing all the Closure Codes configured for the selected Department.

Closure Code ID column in the LIST table displays the ID associated with every configuration.
To edit a Closure Code, click the Closure Code. Make appropriate changes and click Submit.
To display the inactive Closure Codes, click the Include Inactive checkbox.
Note
When the Closure Codes are displayed under the LIST table, the Add New action is displayed on the ACTIONS panel. Click Add New to configure a new Closure Code.
