Calculate Lead Period and minimize the same for effective Change executions!
Lead Period refers to the amount of time required to prepare for a Change to be implemented that is how much time in advance is needed before a Change is implemented. Key factors for Lead Period calculations are Change Type and Risk.
User Persona: Administrator
User Persona: Administrator | Solution |
ACME expects a new Change Request from most of its clients for virtual server provision. To prepare for this implementation ACME wants to plan ahead before client submit Change Requests. | The Administrator configures Lead Period on the application which ensures proper planning for ACME. Ideally two days are required as Lead period for virtual sever provision. With streamlined processes, automated approvals, and automated provisioning steps, the lead time for virtual server provisioning is expected to decrease significantly. ACME plans and reduces this lead period to one day. |
