The primary purpose of the General tab is to configure the basic characteristics of a form to ensure that it aligns with the specific requirements. It is the first stepper for configuring a form relation. It allows you to configure the generic properties of the source form and target form such as Form Name, Form Type, Module and so on.

Before we jump into generic form relation details, let's look into this infographic which summarizes the Form Relation configuration stepper approach.
Configure General Properties
This section provides the details of the first stepper configuration of Form Relation.
To configure the General tab, perform the following steps:
- Navigate to Design Studio > Designers > Form Designer > Form Relation. Select the required application from the Application drop-down and required module from Module drop-down. The Form Relation page is displayed with existing form relations as shown in the following screenshot:

After selecting the required domain and sub domain a list of already created form relation forms is displayed. A sample screenshot is shown below:

The following table contains a brief description on General screen fields.

Name | Specify the unique name of the form relationship to identify form relation. |
Description | Specify the brief description about the form relationship such as the purpose or usage of a form relation or any other additional information. |

Application | Select the application from the drop-down list for the source form. It displays all the applications in the platform for the selected domain. |
Module | Select required module from the drop-down list for the source form. The list displays all modules mapped to the selected application. |
Form Type | Select the type of the source form. The available options are as follows:

Form Name | Select the required source form from the drop-down list. The list displays the sub forms and main forms available for the selected module. |
Tenant | Select the required Tenant for the source form. |

Applicaiton | Select the application from the drop-down list for the source form. The list displays all the applications in the platform for the selected domain. |
Module | Select required module from the drop-down list for the target form. The list displays all modules mapped to the selected application. |
Form Type | Select the type of the target form. The available options are as follows:

Form Name | Select the required target form from the drop-down list. The list displays the sub forms and main forms available for the selected module. |
Active | Select it to make the target form active. |
