To create a Role Template, the following need to be defined to create a Role Template at the Application Level.
General Details
This is the first step in defining a Role Template. It can be configured by adding a unique name and description to define the purpose of your new Role Template. For more information refer to the table below.

| Field | Description |
|---|---|
| Name | Specify a name and define the purpose of the role. |
| Description | Give a detailed description of the role. |
| Domain | Choose the appropriate Domain for which the role is being set. |
| Sub Domain | Choose the appropriate Sub Domain for which the role is being set. |
| Active | Do enable the Active button to activate or deactivate the Role Template |
| Default | Enable the Default button if the Role Template neds to be considered during authentication, if there is no Role Template mapped to the user. Note: There can be one default Role Template for a Domain. To change the configuration, the Administrator needs to override the selected Role Template. |
