Customize and personalize the company webpage with a Tagline widget! The widget can be initiated by dragging and dropping it on the Service Portal screen.

Sandra wants to project their company's customer-friendly approach to a wider audience through their company portal. To do this, she needs a sleek and eye-catching Tagline that needs to be displayed prominently on the portal screen. | John can select a Tagline Widget and configure the generic features of widgets using the Properties option to meet the company's design requirements. He can customize the text, font, color, and alignment to ensure it fits the company's branding and design guidelines. |

Configure Tagline
Application Designer can select the Tagline widget in the Service Portal through the Design Portal screen.
To configure Tagline, perform the following steps:
- Navigate to Design Portal > Widgets > Tagline. Customize the Service Portal by dragging the Tagline widget from the widget list screen.

Properties
This section contains the list of properties using which the Application Designer can configure the respective widget feature. To know more about the fields available under the Properties section, see the Field Description below.

Tagline Type | Select Generic under Tagline type in the Tagline Properties popup screen. When set to Generic, it means that a specific tagline is displayed consistently across the Service Portal. You can use $ sign to get user-related information fields from User Master. For instance, if you type $e in the text field, it retrieves to username, email ID etc. This allows for the dynamic insertion of user-specific information into the Tagline, enhancing personalization and user experience. ![]() |
Time Specific Tagline type is used to schedule messages to users within a specified timeframe. Define the time duration using the From and To time for the Time Specific Tagline. ![]() Refer to the screenshot below for more information. ![]() The screenshot shows a related field for From and To as 06.00 and 12.00 with the Tagline text as Good morning. You can also set a default Tagline at time intervals for which it is not defined! In the Default Tagline, From and To time field is not displayed. ![]() You can add more time-based Tagline to the Service Portal using the + icon in the Tagline properties pop-up window. Click Save to save the configurations. ![]() |
