Tagline

Customize and personalize the company webpage with a Tagline widget! The widget can be initiated by dragging and dropping it on the Service Portal screen.

Configure Tagline 

Application Designer can select the Tagline widget in the Service Portal through the Design Portal screen.

To configure Tagline, perform the following steps:

1. Navigate to Design Portal > Widgets > Tagline. Customize the Service Portal by dragging the Tagline widget from the widget list screen.

2. Click the Settings icon to view Properties pop-up.

Properties

This section contains the list of properties using which the Application Designer can configure the respective widget feature. To know more about the fields available under the Properties section, see the Field Description below.

Field Description

Properties
Tagline Type	Select Generic under Tagline type in the Tagline Properties popup screen. When set to Generic, it means that a specific tagline is displayed consistently across the Service Portal. Figure: Generic Tagline text You can use $ sign to get user-related information fields from User Master. For instance, if you type $e in the text field, it retrieves to username, email ID etc. This allows for the dynamic insertion of user-specific information into the Tagline, enhancing personalization and user experience. 	Time Specific Tagline type is used to schedule messages to users within a specified timeframe. Define the time duration using the From and To time for the Time Specific Tagline.Figure: Time-Specific Tagline text Refer to the screenshot below for more information.Figure: Field details The screenshot shows a related field for From and To as 06.00 and 12.00 with the Tagline text as Good morning. You can also set a default Tagline at time intervals for which it is not defined! In the Default Tagline, From and To time field is not displayed. Figure: Default Tagline You can add more time-based Tagline to the Service Portal using the + icon in the Tagline properties pop-up window. Click Save to save the configurations. Appearance 

This section contains the list of features using which the Application Designercan select Text, Border and Dimensions.

The table below contains the list of fields and their descriptions that are available under the Appearance section:
Field Description

Text
Text Type	Select the appropriate text type format for the widget from the drop-down list. The Text type can be changed for the widget if required. Figure: Text Type
Text Color	Select the appropriate font color for the widget by selecting the color from the color palette.Figure: Text Color
Text Size	Select the appropriate font size by dragging the slider. Here text size is selected as 12. Figure: Text Size
Text Style	Select the appropriate font style from the drop-down list.  Text Style allows for the selection of one or more styles (bold, italics, and/or underlined) simultaneously.Figure: Text Style
Text Alignment	Select the suitable Text Alignment from the list. You can align your text accordingly. Figure: Text Alignment
Border
Border	Select the border style by selecting desired Border Type. Figure: Border

Dimensions
Dimension	Select the widget's height and width from the drop-down list. You can set the height in pixels (px) and the width in both percentage (%) and pixels (px). Using a percentage for width allows the widget to fill the container's width.Figure: Dimension

The configured Tagline widget appears on the Service portal screen as shown below:
