Manage Digital Agent

Log into Apex to view and manage Digital Agents. The well-organized list page significantly enhances visibility and accessibility of all the configured Digital Agents.
To view a configured Digital Agent, perform the following steps:
- Login to Apex.
- Click the application group (All, IT) for which you want to configure Digital Agent.

Select the Application (Asset Management, Discovery, Service Management, Service Automation) for which you want to configure Digital Agent.
- Clickicon from the top panel.

The next screen displays the list of all configured Digital Agents.

Filters
You have the provision to apply filters on all of the columns or on an individual column. This functionality allows you to control the exclusion or inclusion of specific data as per your requirement. You can focus on the required data with better analyzation.
To apply filters on all the columns, perform the following steps:
- Click View to add new filters to the list page. You can also select a View from the already Saved Views.

You have the provision to add new advanced filters or to use saved view with pre-defined filter conditions.
Advanced Filter
The Advanced filters allows you to define filter conditions at more granular level with additional filter options.
- Click Add New View. The following pop-up is displayed:

- Click Add Filter Set to add a new filter to the Digital Agent list page. The following screen appears:

Figure: Advance filter - Field - Once you select Field value, the Operator column will populate the corresponding operator values in the dropdown menu. Select the Operator. You can select only one option.
Figure: Advance filter - Operator - Once you select Operator, the Value column will auto-populate the values in a drop down menu as per the selected Operator and column. Refer the below table for different Operators and their corresponding Values:
- Click Apply to implement the newly set advance filters on the list page.
The following table describes the fields and description of Advance Filter pop-up.
Field Name | Description |

Field | Select the field from the available list of options:

Operator | Specify the operator for selected Field: If you select ID, the operator are - Equal, Not Equal, Greater Than, Less Than, Greater than or equal to, Less than or equal to, Between, Is empty, Is one of, Is not one of, Dynamic. If you select Name, the operator are - Is, Is Not, Is One Of, Is Not One Of, Is Anything, Is Empty, Is Not Empty, Dynamic. If you select Digital Agent or Live Agent, the operator is - Is. |
Value | Specify the field value for the selected operator. |
Click Delete icon to delete any filter conditions. | |
Click Add icon to add one more row to add filter conditions. | |
Clear All Filters | Click Clear All to remove all filter conditions. |
Cancel | Click Cancel to remove a specific filter condition. |
Apply | Click Apply to remove apply a specific filter condition. |
The applied filters count is displayed on the top along with filter icon. It will provide a quick reference to the applied filters. A sample screenshot is shown below:Figure: Filters Count
Filters in individual column
You can apply filters on individual columns of ID, Name, Digital Agent, and Live Agent as well per your requirement.
To apply filters on individual columns, perform the following steps:
- On the list page, click the filter associated with individual column. A sample screenshot is shown below:

Figure: Filters - popup - Select Match All or Match Any option from the list to filter the data based on the condition selected. Match All option is selected, by default.
Figure: Filters - In the next field, select the option to compare the data based on the conditions. Available options are as follows:
- Starts With
- Contains
- Not contains
- Ends with
- Equals
- Not equals
- Less than
- Less than or equal to
- Greater than
- Greater than or equal to
- Date is
- Date is not
- Date is before
- Date is after
- Active
- Not ActiveNoteThe following filter options are available for numeric column values:
- Less than
- Less than or equal to
- Greater than
- Greater than or equal to
The following filter options are available for date column values:- Date is
- Date is not
- Date is before
- Date is after
The following filter options are available for toggle switch Active:
- Active
- Not Active
- You can click Clear to clear the configured filter and click Apply to set the filter condition.
Search
Search a specific Digital Agent in the list page by using the Search bar present on top of the list page. You can enter the Digital Agent ID, name, or any other keyword to search a particular Digital Agent.

Export
Export the current or all the list pages in a Excel format using the Export icon. (Refer the following screenshot)

Once you click the Export icon, it will give you options to export all the pages or only the current page in an Excel format. (Refer the following screenshot)

Edit Digital Agent
You can edit, activate, or deactivate an already configured Digital Agent through the list page.
To activate or deactivate a Digital Agent, perform the following steps;
- Login to Apex.
- Click the Application Group (All, IT) on the top > Click the Application (Asset Management, Discovery, Service Management, Service Automation) for which you want to configure Digital Agent.

- Under Digital Agent column, there is a toggle button corresponding to every configured Digital Agent. Enable the button to activate the Digital Agent. If you want to deactivate the Digital Agent, disable this toggle button. A sample screenshot is displayed below:
Figure: Activate/Deactivate Digital Agent - Click on the ID of the Digital Agent which you want to edit. The configuration steppers (General, Configuration, Publish) are displayed. Edit the details as per the requirement.
- Click Proceed in each configuration stepper after updating the details to proceed to the next stepper.
- In the Publish stepper, click Update to save all the changes made in the Digital Agent configuration.
- If you do not want to save the changes and revert back to the previous configurations, click Cancel.
