User persona:Application Designer

Solution
Amy, the administrator wants to view the data related to the discovered devices in pictorial representation.Amy can access Discovery Dashboard under the Discovery tab. She can get detailed views of discovered devices by model, make, and OS types and can quickly grasp the job landscape, identify patterns, and make informed decisions to improve overall system efficiency and performance. Regularly monitoring these statistics helps in proactively addressing issues and optimizing the utilization of IT resources.

Access Discovery Dashboard


To view 
Discovery Dashboard, perform the following steps:

  1. Select Home > User Dashboard. Discovery job details page is displayed, and it contains the following pie graphs as mentioned in the below table.

    The following table contains a brief description of Pie graph types under the Discovery Dashboard.

    By Protocol
     By Protocol pie graph displays the total number of discovered devices based on the protocols such as WMI, SSH, Telenet, etc. It also displays the percentage of the protocol.

    By System Type

    By System Type pie graph displays the type of discovered devices within a network or infrastructure. It also displays the percentage of system type that gets discovered.
    3By ModelBy Model pie graph displays the percentage of discovered devices based on the Manufacturer such as Microsoft. It also displays the percentage of each Manufacturer's devices that gets discovered.
    4By CPUBy CPU pie graph displays the percentage of central processing units (CPUs) present in the devices on a network or infrastructure.
  2. Click the required pie graph to view the device list.

  3. Select the ID from the list to view the Hardware details of the discovered data.

    The list displays the serial number, model number and system name for a specific ID.
