In the Notification Designer, a new Action component is introduced which is used to design the Approval Action in the notification. It allows the Application Designer to define display name, font and its styles.
Add Approval Action
To add an Approval Action, perform the following:
Expand Action section, drag and drop Approver Action on the Email template.

Configure Approval Action
Upon dropping the element on the notification template it can be configured according to the business operation requirement.
To configure Approval Action perform the following steps:
Click gear icon to configure Approval Action.

Action
This field specifies, action element on the email notification. The list are as follows:
Approve
Reject
On-Hold

Enable
Enable to view Action button on the Email template. If the Action is enabled the same is displayed on the design template.
Display Name
Enter the display name of the button, the specified name is displayed on the Action Button.
Text Type
Select Text Type from the following options:
Cursive
Fantasy
Inherit
Monospace
Primeicons
Text Color
Select Text Color of the action button, it can be chosen from RGB, HSL and HEX options.
Button Color
Select color for the action button.
Click Save to apply the configuration.
Approval Action on Email
The Notification Email will contain the Approval Action as Button as displayed in the following figure.

Click Approve button.
An Outlook window is opened with the Subject auto-populated in the Email.
Note
To Recipient details are obtained from the configured app settings.

Impact of Notification Approval Action in the Workflow Designer
The following steps provide usage of Notification Template in the Workflow Designer.
Configure Notification Template with Approval Actions such as Approve, Reject and On Hold.

In the Workflow Designer, drag and drop Notification on the Canvas and click vertical ellipsis to configure its properties.

Select Notification Template that contain Approve, Reject and On Hold actions with enabled status.

Configure Approval in Workflow Designer.

In the Workflow Designer configure Approval Actions as Approve and Reject.

When the workflow is triggered, Approver can view only those actions enabled in the Workflow Designer though the Notification Template consists other actions.

Note
If the Notification Template contain only one action (Example: Approve) and the Workflow Designer is configured with two actions (Example: Approve and Reject). The Notification Email will have only Approve action.
