Approval Grid

The Approval Grid is pre-configured component provided with an option to Edit the properties. This will appear for all the Modules, and is represented as a Vertical Grid. The Application Designer can drag and drop the Approval Grid on the Email Body. However, this action can be performed only once.
Add Approval Grid
To Add an Approval Grid on the Email Body, drag and drop the component from the left panel on to Email Body. This is preconfigured with default properties which can be edited.

Edit Approval Gird
To edit Approval Grid, perform the following steps:
Expand Approval grid, click vertical ellipsis ad select Edit.

A pop-up screen that supports multiple headers is displayed. Along with an option to style the grid using Appearance.

Note
There are some limitation in the Approval Grid pop-up compared to the pop-up of the Grid, below options are not available. Grid Name, option to select the table, Grid Style selection (Horizontal/Vertical), option to add or delete columns, and How the record should be displayed (Display type/Type of attachment).

Configure Columns
Approval Grid has the below list of fixed columns.
Level number: This represents is the approval number of approvals present in the ticket as part of the workflow.

The levels mentioned in the ticket are defined in the Workflow.Figure: Approval Level in Workflow
Approval Level Name: This is the Name in which that Approval Level is configured.
Example: Reporting Manager Approver, Workgroup Owner Approver, Business Head Approver, etc.Approval Name: These are static derived names that are configured as part of Approval Types for each level.
Approval Status: This depends on the current status of the record as per the configuration, such as
Awaiting Approval
Rejected
Approved
On Hold
Refer Back
Approval Date: The time stamp in which the Approval action takes place.
Approval Remarks: Comment provided by the approver during the Approval process.
Referred back level: While referring back the level to which this record is sent back.
These columns are fixed, however the user can only edit the column names, these serve as the column name of the Approval grid as displayed below:

Note
The Edit configuration enables to edit only the alias name of the columns, and this is a mandatory field.
Appearance
The Approval Grid Appearance have below sections.
Appearance: All the configured Grids is displayed in the dropdown, and the Appearance can be copied from them.
Grid Header
Grid Value
Grid Border
These function same as Grid Appearance Properties, for more information, refer Grid Appearance.
Click Update to save the configuration. The updated configuration is saved as Approval Grid.
Time related Components such as Approval Date displays the Time Zone.
Time Zone
All the Time related components from the record display Time zone name on the date-time field based on the record Created By. This apply to notifications generated by Workflow Designer, Business Rule Designer and Scheduler which uses email components from left panel in the designer such as Notification Elements (single chip that’s static elements), Grids (Horizontal and Vertical), Popover Form Elements, Approval Grids and Multi-Value group grid.
