A Notification Email template allows the Application Designer to design the template in the Subject and Email Body format. Email notification template can be designed according to the hour of business need such as events, alerts, information, and updates. It allows designing a structured template allowing to add tables, source code, grid records by defining a view, and more. Various style formatting can be performed using rich text format option.
To configure the components within the email notification template, refer to the following:
An email template allows to design a notification in the Subject and Email Body format. Create Notification Templates using drag and drop facility from the above list, which is an user friendly experience.
To configure an email template in subject and email body format, perform the following:
In the Template stepper, select Email tab.
An Email template with the subject and email body is displayed.

Subject | Enter the details in the Subject line. The Application Designer can drag and drop columns or fields in the Subject field. The starting of the Subject line is ID. This ID will be automatically obtained from the selected Table in the left section. However, there is a limit of characters that can be entered in the Subject field. Figure: Subject | ||||||||
Email Body | Enter the details in the Email Body, drag and drop columns or fields onto the Body. The Application Designer can leverage rich text properties that is available on the Text Area and create the mail template. For more details, refer to Menu bar and Icon. | ||||||||
Attachment | Click upload icon and select an Attachment. The Attachments can be of various formats such as, Image Formats, Multimedia Formats, Microsoft Office Formats, Open Document Formats, and Other Formats. Upon uploading an Attachment, it can be previewed and deleted. Figure: Attachment
