Article summary

The Notification Parser is a feature within the Summit Platform that automates the processing of incoming emails to manage records efficiently. It performs actions such as approving records, updating existing records, or creating new ones based on predefined configurations and conditions.

Key Components:

  1. Approve Action: Validates if a record is in the approval stage and if the email sender is authorized to approve it. If approved, the record's status is updated accordingly.

  2. Update Record Action: Identifies records that need updating by matching criteria like Record ID, Unique ID, or Email Subject. It then updates specified fields based on the email content.

  3. Create Record Action: Generates new records when incoming emails do not match existing records, ensuring that all relevant information is captured.
