Export

The Export functionality within the Update Set is performed at the Platform Level to port the data from the pre-production instance to the production instance.

To Export data in the Update Set, perform the following steps:

1. Log in as a Super Admin and select an Application.

2. Click on the settings icon on the top panel, then select Platform Studio.

3. Select Update Set and then select Export.

4. Select Start Date and End Date by from the calendar icon.

5. Click Apply.

   Note

   Upon performing this action, the system helps to understand the following:

   • The Tables that have been modified.

   • The Total count of records that have been modified in each of these tables.

   • Last updated time for each Table.

   Field	Description
   Start Date	Start Date mentions the Date from when the Table details must be considered.
   End Date	End Date mentions till when the modified table details must be considered. This is the date range.
   Table Name	Provides the name of Tables that is modified within the date range.
   Modified Count	Specify the total count of records for each table that is modified.
   Last Updated By	Date and Time of the latest update on the Table.

6. Click Export.
   Export status message is displayed.

7. Upon completion of Export, click Copy URL to use it in the Import action.

   Note

   This is asynchronous, it exports all the configuration from this particular instance and makes it available on a blob and the blob link gets automatically generated. This is not a local file because the size of the file is huge.
   

   We are automatically updating the entire copy of this particular application from pre-production to blob and that blob link is displayed here.

8. Click X close icon to exit the screen.

9. This blob link URL will be used in Import Action.
