Configuring Fault Type

Article summary

You can add and modify the various Fault Types for a Tenant. These Fault Types are available in the Return Asset section of the RETURN FROM REPAIR page.

To configure Fault Type, perform the following steps:

  1. Select Asset > Configuration > Asset Masters > Fault Type.

  2. On the FAULT TYPE page, click ADD NEW on the ACTIONS panel.

  3. Select the Tenant and type in a name for the Fault Type in the Fault Type text box. If the Active check box is selected, the Fault Type becomes an available option on the other pages of the application.

  4. Click SUBMIT. A new Fault Type is configured.

ACTIONS

This section explains all the icons displayed on the ACTIONS panel of the FAULT TYPE page.

SHOW LIST

Click SHOW LIST to display the LIST table showing all the Fault Types configured in the SUMMIT application for the selected Tenant.

  • To edit a Fault Type, click the configured Fault Type. Make appropriate changes and click SUBMIT.

· To display the inactive Fault Types, click the Include Inactive check box.

Note:

When the Fault Types are displayed under the LIST table, the ADD NEW action is displayed on the ACTIONS panel. Click ADD NEW to add a new Fault Type.
