Assets currently not in use or irreparable will be classified under Inactive status.
Let's explore the 'Inactive’ status in detail.

Top Panel
Top Panel consists of following fields:
Field | Description |
---|---|
Asset Code | Asset Code is a unique alphanumeric identifier assigned to assets in the inventory. It prominently displays the assigned code, where the first two letters denote the asset type. For example: In FI000875, 'FI' signifies a fixed asset. |
Asset Status | Asset Status will be displayed as Inactive when the asset is currently not in use. |
Audit Trail captures information such as Change, Workflow, Link, Communication, BR, and Access History. Figure: Audit Trail pop-up | |
Kebab menu consists of options such as Reactivate, Send Email, Remote Asset control etc. These options are specifically displayed based on the specific validations or conditions defined. Inactive - Main Actions
Reactivate
After being repaired, assets can be collected from the repair center and are ready for reuse. This step facilitates efficient asset management and reintroduction into the workflow.
Click the kebab menu on the asset details page to select Reactivate option.

Provide all the required information as shown below and click

Enter the remarks for re-activation of asset.
Reactivation Date
Select a date for reactivating the asset from the calendar.
