In the General configuration, Application Designer will define a unique name and provide a description defining the purpose of the dashboard. Additionally, the dashboards can be scheduled for different user groups.
To configure a dashboard, perform the following steps:
- Navigate to Service Management > Design Studio. Select the Module for which the dashboard is to be configured.
- Select the Dashboard option under the Report Designer.
The list of configured dashboards is displayed.

- On the General tab, enter the details. To know more about the fields, see Field Description.

Field Description
This table contains the list of fields and their descriptions that are available in the General tab:
Field | Description |
Domain* | Select the required domain for which the dashboard is to be configured. |
Sub Domain* | Select the required sub-domain for which the dashboard is to be configured. |
Dashboard Name* | Specify a unique name for the dashboard to be created. |
Dashboard Description | Specify a brief description of the dashboard. It describes the purpose of the dashboard. |
Tags | Specify tags or keywords for a quick search of the dashboard after it is published. |
Sort Order | Specify the sort order for the dashboard. Based on the numeric value assigned, the dashboard will appear. Sort order is a numeric value starting from 0. |
Active | Enable the active toggle button to make the dashboard active. |
Schedule | Enable the schedule toggle button if you wish to schedule the dashboard. It can be either for one day or made recurring. To know more about the schedule, refer to Scheduler. |
* Asterisks represent the mandatory fields.
6. Click Next to design the dashboard.
