Import Knowledge Records

You can create Knowledge Records in bulk by importing the Knowledge Records using Microsoft Excel templates.
To Import Knowledge Records in Bulk, perform the following steps:
Navigate to Knowledge > User > Import Knowledge Records.
The Import Knowledge Records page is displayed.

Click Download KB Import Template on the ACTIONS panel.
Fill all the mandatory details in the template and save.

Notes
The data for columns, such as Workgroup, Classification, Category, and Reason for KR should have the same text value, which is configured for the selected Tenant.
The Owner column should contain the user e-mail id.
If any invalid data is updated in the above columns, the record is not processed.
Separate the Attribute and its Value by a pipe character (|). Example: Attribute1 | Value1
Separate multiple Attribute sets by a double pipe character (||). Example: Attribute1 | Value1 || Attribute2 | Value2 || Attribute3 | Value3
To delete a record from the Excel file, right-click the row number and click Delete.
Click the upload icon to attach the Source File.
Click Submit.

The users can view the uploaded records under the Uploaded Records tab.

The users can view the error records under the Error Records tab with respective error messages.

The following table describes the fields on the Import Knowledge Records page:

Department | Select the Department from the dropdown list. |
Source File | Click the Upload icon to select the Source file. |
ACTIONS
This section explains all the icons displayed on the ACTIONS panel of the IMPORT KNOWLEDGE RECORDS page.
SHOW LIST
Click SHOW LIST to view the LIST table showing all the Knowledge Records.
ADD NEW
Click ADD NEW to add a new KR. For more information about adding new KRs, see Adding Knowledge Records.
CONFIGURE COLUMNS
Click CONFIGURE COLUMNS to customize the columns on the page. For more information, see Personalizing Pages of SUMMITAI General.
