Classification describes the methodical grouping and labeling of occurrences according to certain characteristics, like the type of problem, its consequences, and the systems or services that are impacted.
This classification facilitates more effective reporting and analysis by streamlining the resolution process and aiding in the efficient organization, prioritization, and response to incidents.
