Configure ReCAPTCHA
You can configure a text-based reCAPTCHA feature to provide an additional layer of protection to access Apex.
An alpha numeric character based reCAPTCHA feature has been added by Apex to offer an extra degree of security for application access. The purpose of this function is to differentiate between humans and bots, or robots. While it is simple for humans to solve, bots and other malicious software find it difficult to understand. Users of reCAPTCHA must enter the displayed characters in the designated space using identifiable alphanumeric elements.
For information on how to configure CAPTCHA refer Configure Authentication Card Types.
Verify ReCAPTCHA
When an administrator sets up every option needed to make the Apex application compatible with reCAPTCHA. The reCAPTCHA verification button to confirm that you are human and not a robot displays on the login page.
To verify the Recaptcha, perform the following steps.
1. Log in to Apex application. The Apex login page is displayed.
2. Enter the alphanumeric values in the designated field.
3. The green checkmark indicates that reCAPTCHA verification was successful, and a user could log in the Apex application.
