    Manage Notification Designer

    Article summary

    The configured notification templates are displayed on the list page, the Application Designer can modify templates according to the business requirement.

    Warning:
    Kindly refrain from editing the pre-configured Bulletin template, as it can lead to instability of the application.

    The following actions can be performed to manage a configured template.

    View

    The View widget is available on the list page of the designer this option provides the Application Designer with various actions as explained in the following topics:

    Filter

    Filter option is available from the select View option on the Notification Designer list page.

    To add a new Filter, perform the following steps:

    1. Navigate to Design Studio > Application > Notification Designer.
      A list of templates is displayed.

    2.  Select View.
      A list of views and an option to add new view is displayed.

    3.  Click + Add New View.
      An option to add new filter is displayed.

    4.  Click + Add Filter.
      Provide input for the filter condition.

    5. Click Apply.

    6.  Click Save as New View to save the user defined filter condition.
      The Application Designer will be allowed to name the view.

    7.  Enter View Name and click Save.
      A success message is displayed.

    IconDescription
    Indicates Filter icon, if number pinned to icon, it means the count of filters are applied. 
    Indicates Pencil icon, that allows to edit the Filter on View list.
    Indicates Delete icon, which deletes the view. Upon deleting the following pop up message is displayed.
    Click Delete.

    Search

    Search icon option allows to search the relevant details from list as displayed in the following figure.

    Note
    If the user would like to list configured closed incidents related items on list, the same can be entered on search bar using the word from the name (example: service) which provides only the relevant data from the search result.

    Export

    Upon configuring the templates, according to the requirement if the user would want to gather the data on an excel file, the same can be achieved by exporting it to an excel file. 

    To export the list items to excel, perform the following steps:

    1.  Navigate to Design Studio > Module > Service Request > Notification Designer.

    2.  Click Export icon .
      Export to excel will be displayed.

    3. Click Export to Excel.
      The options such as as export current or all pages is displayed.

    4.  Select either Export Current Page or Export All.

    Edit

    To edit the templates, perform the following steps:

    1.  Navigate to Design Studio > Module > Service Request > Notification Designer.
      A list of templates is displayed.

    2.  Select ID.
      Make the required changes.
