Manage Holiday Calendar

With flexible Edit, View, and Filter options efficiently manage the Holiday Calendar.
Edit Calendar
The details such as Name, Location, holidays etc. added to the Holiday Calendar can be changed or amended as per requirements. This can be done using the Edit function present in the Holiday Calendar.
To Edit the Holiday Calendar, perform the following steps.
- Navigate to Design Studio > Application > Holiday Calendar.
- Specify the Domain and Sub Domain to load the Holiday Calendar list page.
- Click ID to open a configured Holiday Calendar.

4. Any alterations to the Holiday Calendar can be made and click Update.
Change History and Versioning
A holiday calendar's "Change History" is often a log or record of any alterations, updates, or changes made to the calendar throughout time. The term "Versioning" describes the process of keeping track of various changes or versions of the calendar over time.

Change History
Change History helps in maintaining transparency, compliance, and accuracy. The change history feature provides a historical reference to each amendment and is a great audit trail. It supports key functions like accountability, auditing, troubleshooting, and version control.

The below figure represents the changes made to each item along with the timestamp and user details.

The details of the changes can be further viewed by clicking on the respective change title. Refer to the image below.

Versioning
Versioning is essential for maintaining a reliable record of the changes and enabling efficient backup and recovery processes. For eg: The figure below depicts v6 which shows that there were 6 revisions done to record.

To switch between versions, choose the desired version from the dropdown menu, make the necessary changes, and upon clicking the update button, the calendar will be updated/rolled back to the desired version.
Clone
This feature allows the creation of a duplicate or copy of an existing calendar. This feature enables the creation of duplicates or copies of the existing calendars. This is beneficial for generating holiday calendars for future years or different locations with minor adjustments to the holiday list.
Import from Excel
The function allows Holiday calendars to be imported from Excel. This option saves time regarding loading the same information onto the system avoiding manual addition of holiday list.

Export to Excel
The export to Excel feature is suitable to allow users to save or download data in a compatible format. The benefits of export to Excel feature is that it facilitates data backup, data transfer, offline access etc.

Grid
The grid provides a detailed view of the list page of the Holiday Calendar. It provides a list of holiday calendars, providing required information about each calendar. For more information refer to the field description table below.
Field | Description |

Id | This is the unique Id of the Holidays configured. |
Name | The unique name of the configured Holiday calendar. |
Description | A brief description of the calendar is provided. |
Location(s) | The location specific to the Holiday Calendar is provided. |
Holidays | Total holidays added in the calendar. |
No of days | Total number of days for the respective holidays configured. |
Year | The specific year for which the Holiday Calendar is created. |
Updated by | The column details a log of the last updated user history. |
Updated Date | The last updated date is specified. |
Active | The toggle button specifies if the Holiday Calendar is set to active. |
Make a copy of the Holiday Calendar using this icon. |
List Page Filter
On the list page, both active and inactive calendars are displayed by default. However, users can apply filters to refine the displayed data according to specific conditions. The Filter option in the Holiday Calendar allows content restriction based on specific criteria.

- On clicking Filter icon, a pop-up screen appears where you can add new filter sets with conditions to the list page. (Refer the following screenshot)Figure: Filter
- Click Add Filter to add a new filter to the Holiday Calendar list page. The following screen appears.
3. Select the required options and click Apply.
4. To create an advanced Filter, click the icon as given below.
5. The following window is displayed.

6. In the Field section select a column from the dropdown menu to which you want to add new filters. (Refer the following screenshot)

7. Click Apply to implement the newly set advance filters on the list page.
And / Or Filter
The And / Or Filter can be used to set filters with two or more conditions.
And - The "and" filter combines two or more conditions; the result is true only if each condition is true.
Or - An "or" filter operation combines two or more conditions, and it returns true if at least one of the conditions is met.
To set the And/Or Filter, perform the following steps.
1. Check the boxes for the filter conditions as depicted below and click the Group option.

3. The And/Or option is displayed as given below.

4. Choose the required option and click Apply.
View
These customized filter settings can be saved as views for convenient future access.

Step 1: Apply filter conditions and click Apply.
click Save as New View and the following window is displayed.
Enter a View Name, check the box to Set as Default and click Save.
Step 2: Click Create View and show the view.

Search
The Search option in Holiday Calendar helps to easily search configured holidays from the list page by entering atleast 2 characters in the search box.

Column Level Filter
The Column level Filter option enables content restriction based on specific criteria applied to each respective column.
To apply filters on all the columns as well as on individual columns, perform the following steps:
- On the Holiday Calendar list page, click the Filters icon on the top left corner just above the list.Figure: Filters
- Specify the filter criteria based on your requirement. Select the Match All or Match Any option from the list to filter the data based on the condition selected. The Match All option is selected, by default.
- Select the option to compare the data based on the conditions. Available options are as follows:
- Starts With
- Contains
- Not contains
- Ends with
- Equals
- Not equals
- Less than
- Less than or equal to
- Greater than
- Greater than or equal to
- Date is
- Date is not
- Date is before
- Date is after
- Active
- Not ActiveNoteThe following filter options are available for numeric column values:
- Less than
- Less than or equal to
- Greater than
- Greater than or equal to
The following filter options are available for date column values:- Date is
- Date is not
- Date is before
- Date is after
The following filter options are available for toggle switch Active:
- Active
- Not Active
- Click Clear to clear the configured filter and apply to set the filter condition.
Sort
The column level sorting option allows the list of records to be arranged either in descending or ascending order based on the values of the chosen field. By default, the latest records appear at the top, following a descending order of ID.
