Master Value refers to the core data entities that are essential to a business and are typically shared across multiple applications or business processes within an organization. Examples of master values include customer information, product details, employee records, etc. Master values are usually considered relatively stable and does not change frequently.
To create a Master Value, perform the following steps:
1. Under Platform Studio section, click Platform Masters, then select the Common Master.
2. Select the Master Type from the drop down in the List View page and then click Add Master Value.

The Add Master Value Configuration page will be displayed.
Note: Once you select the Master Type there will be an informational note showcasing the number of master values configured for that Master Type.
