Popover Form Elements

Popover forms enhance the Notification Designer by allowing Application Designers to incorporate form elements from related tables dynamically. This feature adds flexibility and depth to notifications by leveraging information from various popover forms associated with the module.

To configure Popover Form Elements, perform the following steps:

1. Initially Popover Form Elements will be disabled, only upon selecting a Table that contains Popover Form(s), the Popover Form Elements is enabled for further configuration.

2. Select Table configured with Popover Form.

   Then the Popover Form Elements is enabled for further configuration.
   
   Example: In the following figure, only after selecting Manage Incidents, the Popover Form Elements is displayed.

3. Select Popover Form Elements in the left section of the notification designer actions panel.
   Elements will be grouped under their respective popover form names.

   Example: Generate Resolution Summary and KB Suggestion List are two different popover forms as displayed in the above screenshot. The fields from the two popover forms will be grouped in their respective forms.

4. Drag and drop the required Popover Form field on the Subject and Email Body.

Time related components on Email Popover Form Elements

All the Time related components from the record display Time zone name on the date-time field based on the record Created By. This apply to notifications generated by Workflow Designer, Business Rule Designer and Scheduler which uses email components from the left panel in the designer such as Notification Elements (single chip that’s static elements), Grids (Horizontal and Vertical), Popover Form Elements, Approval Grids and Multi-Value Group grid.
