Optimize your Consumables experience with a customized configuration!

Consumables Category configuration refers to the categorization and management of consumables associated with IT Assets. This involves defining and organizing a hierarchical structure or taxonomy to classify different types of consumables within the IT Asset management system.

This configuration helps organizations keep track of accessory inventory, streamline procurement processes, and facilitate accurate reporting on asset usage and associated consumables.

Let's explore the following use case!
Use Case
User Persona: Administrator
Solution
NovaTech is expanding its workforce to drive innovation and productivity across its departments. The company is preparing to integrate a diverse array of Consumables to facilitate smooth and sustainable operations. From printer cartridges, and CDs to stationary, ACME is committed to ensuring that every team member has access to the consumables they need to thrive in their roles.
To enhance tracking efficiency, Sandra, the Administrator, can leverage the Consumables Category configuration. By creating a Root Node for the respective Tenant, she can categorize various consumables, further refining classifications with Child Nodes.
Easy customization options allow her to rename, deactivate, or set defaults based on specific needs.
