Maximize your Fixed Assets potential with tailored configurations!

Fixed Assets refer to the tangible and durable items that an organization acquires and utilizes for an extended period to support its IT infrastructure and operations. These assets are essential components of the organization's technology ecosystem and are managed strategically to optimize their value and lifespan.
Examples of Fixed Assets include Servers, Network Equipment, Desktop Computers, Laptops, Data Storage Systems, Telecommunication Systems, etc.

Fixed Asset Category configuration refers to the categorization and management of fixed assets associated with IT Assets.

This involves defining and organizing a hierarchical structure or taxonomy to classify different types of fixed assets within the IT Asset management system.

This configuration helps organizations keep track of accessory inventory, streamline procurement processes, and facilitate accurate reporting on asset usage and associated fixed assets.

Let's explore the following use case.
Use Case
User Persona: Administrator
Solution
NovaTech is expanding its operations to boost productivity and innovation across departments. The company plans to integrate a diverse range of fixed assets, from servers and networking equipment to workstations and storage solutions, ensuring every team member has the tools they need to thrive.
To enhance tracking efficiency, Sandra, the Administrator, can leverage the Fixed Asset Category configuration. By creating a Root Node for the respective Tenant, she can categorize various fixed assets, further refining classifications with Child Nodes.
Easy customization options allow her to rename, deactivate, or set defaults based on specific needs.
