Use Case User Persona: Administrator | Solution |
NovaTech is a rapidly growing company with a diverse IT infrastructure that includes various software applications used by different departments. The company wants to ensure that they are compliant with software license agreements and avoid potential legal and financial risks associated with unauthorized software installations. | To maintain the regulations and compliance, Sandra can configure Profile Mapping in the asset application. She can define the Profile, Department, IP Range, etc, and map the respective profiles. |
Configure Profile Mapping
To configure Profile Mapping, perform the following steps:
- Navigate to Design Studio > Select Application > Asset Management Module > Configurations > Configurations > Profile Mapping.
The Profile Mapping List page is displayed. Click New.

Field Description
The following table contains details about the fields on Profile Mapping Details page:
Field | Description |
---|---|
Tenant * | Select the Tenant for which you want to configure the Profile Mapping. |
Profile | Select the required Profile from the drop-down. |
IP Address Range | |
From IP Address | Enter the starting IP address of the specified range. This address marks the beginning of the range of IP addresses you wish to include. |
To IP Address | Enter ending IP address of the specified range. This address marks the conclusion of the range of IP addresses you wish to include. |
System Details | |
Serial Number | Select the desired Serial Number from the drop-down. |
Customer Details | |
Customer | Select the desired Customer name from the drop-down. |
Location Details | |
Location | Select the desired Location from the tree view. |
