Role Template is a function under the Platform Studio to create different personas in Platform and Application with different rights/access. The Super Admin has access to all the features and screens on the Platform and grants the required permissions to Administrator, Business User, Approver, and Analyst. It is the default configuration present in the Platform.
User Persona: Super Admin
Use Case User Persona:Super Admin | Solution |
NovaTech Consulting Services has a new a mobile development division that requires Application designers to maintain multiple applications for various clients. | To accomplish the task, Super Admin creates and configures the Role Template for the App designer. The App Designer Role Template is used to standardize and streamline the access levels and permissions for App Designers ensuring that each designer has appropriate tools and resources needed for their specific roles. |
Configure Role Template
The Role Template can be used to define new Roles and Access at the Application, Module, and End User levels.
Prerequisite
- Roles need to be configured for setting up the Role Template.
Following are the steps involved in configuring the Role Template.
- Navigate to Platform Studio > User Access Management > Role Template.

- The list page of the Role Template is displayed. Click New to create a new Role Template.
