Publish Master Value

This is the next step in creating Common Master Value, where an App Designer can decide which Domains/Sub Domain/Tenants the Master Type should be published to.

The App Designer can choose to configure by the following.
- Global
- Domain
- Sub Domain
- Tenant
Global
When configure by is selected as Global, the Master Type Value will be published to all Domain, Sub Domain & Tenant. In case you would like to exclude, please define the exclusion list below.
With Exclusion
To Configure by Global Domain along with exclusions, select yes under the Exclusion list.

Field | Description |
---|---|
Domain | A Domain is the highest entity under which you can configure other platform components. Select the Domain from the dropdown which needs to be excluded. |
Sub Domain | A Sub Domain can be understood as a Business Unit under a particular Domain. Select the Sub Domain from the dropdown which needs to be excluded. |
Tenant | A Tenant can be considered as an internal departments or business unit within an organization. Select the Tenant from the dropdown which needs to be excluded. |
Without Exclusion
By default, when Global Domain is selected, the Exclusion List will be selected as 'No'.
When Exclusion List is selected as No, the Master Type Value will be published Globally without exclusions.

Domain
A domain is the highest entity under which you can configure other platform components. By default, there is only one Domain. When Configure by is selected as Domain, the Master Type Value will be published to the selected Domain (Including its Sub Domains and Tenants). In case you would like to have exclusions, select Yes under Exclusion List.
With Exclusion
To Configure by Domain along with exclusions, select yes under the Exclusion list.

Field | Description |

Sub Domain | A Sub Domain can be understood as a Business Unit under a particular Domain. Select the Sub Domain which needs to be excluded. |
Tenant | A Tenant can be considered as an internal departments or business unit within an organization. Select the Tenant which needs to be excluded. |
Without Exclusion
When Exclusion List is selected as No, the Master Type Value will be published to the selected Domain without exclusions.
Sub Domain
A Sub-Domain is the second level on the hierarchy. Think of it as different subsidiaries of the parent company or the conglomerate.
When Configure by is selected as Sub Domain, the Master Type Value will be published to the selected Sub Domain and its Tenants. In case you would like to have exclusions, select Yes under Exclusion List.
With Exclusion
To Configure by Domain along with exclusions, select yes under the Exclusion List.

Tenant
Tenant is similar to a department within an organization which provision the support related to an IT or a facility.
When Configure by is selected as Tenant, the Master Type Value will be published to the selected Tenant only.

After selecting the option to configure and selecting the details, click Next to move to the next screen.
